Asif Akbar was born in Khulna, Bangladesh and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. As a young man, Asif reached a time in his life when he knew, in his heart, just exactly what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. That's when he came to California straight out of high school to pursue an education at Columbia College Hollywood for a bachelors degree in Cinema & TV Productions to pursue his dream. That dream came true very quickly for Asif as he is currently working as a producer, director, writer, cinematographer and actor.
Outside of working in the Entertainment Industry, Asif has other interest in health and fitness and has produced a fitness TV series along with his own personal training that includes lifting weights and cardio hip hop dancing. He has worked on several international broadcast television programs for the Bangladeshi Television Industry on and off throughout teenage years and is the co-founder of IVision entertainment: www.ivisionentertainment.com. Asif believes in making the world a better place through his visions and work as a filmmaker and humanitarian.
